The location worked for transport. Vatican City was a 25-minute walk. Staff were polite and gave us a map with main attractions.

The room reeked of old furniture, a smell I could not stand. I saw black mold on the wall under the bed. I could smell it all night. It was unpleasant.

mixed experience, some issues noted

faulty socket clogged drain

the location was acceptable, allowing relatively easy access to key attractions.

the room assigned was not up to standard. the shower drain was clogged, causing water to accumulate, and a power socket was faulty. the television also had persistent static, rendering it unwatchable (rather frustrating).

wonderful experience close to everything

great location professional staff luggage storage

the location was amazing. i liked being able to walk to the vatican and many other places. the staff was very kind and professional, especially when i needed help with my luggage. they stored my luggage without me even asking and had it delivered to my room upon my return..

the door to my room seemed to have been forced open at some point and wasn't securely fixed. it was a bit concerning because it didn't lock properly with the key.

small bed unwashed blanket

the reception staff seemed helpful. the building had original features in the entrance area.

the room i got wasn't like the description online. the bed was too small and it lacked proper bedding. i suspect the blanket had been used by others and not washed. it was not good.

poor soundproofing lumpy mattress

I was SOOOO disappointed by the lack of soundproofing. I could hear EVERYTHING from the hallway, including other guests talking and doors slamming ALL night. It made it impossible to get a decent night's sleep. The mattress also felt old and lumpy. It definitely needs replacing. It affected my rest.

an okay stay, nothing special

outdated furniture weak air conditioning

The room i got felt quite outdated. some of the furniture looked worn. the air conditioning was also pretty weak. It struggled to keep the room cool enough! also, the breakfast was a bit disappointing. there were very few options for someone like me.
